The strong contemporary lines of the architecture are drawn into the garden with transversely linear pathways, punctuated with shapely boxed shrubs and giant Miscanthus grasses leading one into the garden from both sides of the house.  Tiny details in the planting enliven the courtyard spaces that are an integral part of the house.  The ancient oak tree provides a benevolent spirit, and is a link to the natural greater landscape that forms the spine of the estate.
