Bantry Bay, Cape Town

Bantry Bay is windfree and therefore offers an opportunity to create a tropical feel.  The owner is a compulsive gardener and collector and the garden features an spectacular deck and uncluttered outdoor living space contrasting with the tiny detailed series of pocket gardens around the sides of the house.  A massive and close retaining wall outside the study has been turned to infinite advantage with the use of mirrors and water.
